what we store

OpenSMS stores the data needed to operate the service: your account identity from Google sign-in, the API keys you create (only a secure hash and a short display prefix), the devices you pair, their reported SIM metadata, and the SMS jobs you submit.

how it is used

Data is used solely to route SMS jobs to your gateways, report delivery status, and show your dashboard. We do not sell your data.

message content

The recipient number and message body of each job are stored so your gateway can deliver it and so you can review delivery history.

authentication

Authentication is provided by Neon Auth. Google provides your account identity; OpenSMS never sees your Google password.
